Stephen Nelson
Chief Executive Officer
After 6 years as Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Nelson was promoted to Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2020. Hired in 2014 to manage the rehabilitation work at the plant, Mr. Nelson has over 40 years of industry experience, encompassing the key aspects of power plant operations and experience. Prior to joining Longview Power, he worked for the Sacramento Utility District, Babcock & Wilcox, Pacific Gas and Electric, PPII-Montana, Aptech Engineering Services and Black & Veatch. Mr. Nelson received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento and a MBA from Saint Mary’s College.

Randy Gillespie
Chief Commercial Officer
Gillespie was promoted to Chief Commerical Officer in September 2020, after serving as VP Energy Management since his hire in 2015. With over 20 years of experience, Gillespie has worked in asset optimization, hedging, and managing assets in competitive markets. Prior to Longview, Gillespie held positions with EquiPower Resources, Kelson Energy, Allegheny Energy Supply, and Orion Power. He has a B.S degree in Marketing from Clemson University, and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Eric Cada
Chief Financial Officer
Cada has over 23 years of experience in the power generation industry with emphasis on financial management and reporting, strategic planning, cash and treasury management, financial modeling and risk management. Prior to joining Longview, he was CFO of Danskammer Energy and MACH Gen Power, VP Finance at Competitive Power Ventures, VP FP&A at Constellation Energy Commodities Group and Director at National Energy Group. He began his career as an auditor and then a financial consultant with Ernst and Young. Cada has a MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Accounting from Old Dominion University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Chad Hufnagel
Plant Manager
Hufnagel has more than 15 years experience in the power generation industry with a large focus on O&M management, engineering, reliability, performance and business planning. Hufnagel joined Longview in 2009 as Maintenance Manager and also served as the Plant Reliability Manager. In those roles he was a key leader in developing the maintenance and reliability programs, implementing the business systems and processes and the startup and commissioning of the plant. Prior to joining Longview, Hufnagel worked for Reliant Energy in various positions including Maintenance Manager of a 470MW coal fired facility. Hufnagel has a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from Kutztown University.

Jeff Keffer
Chairman of the Board
Keffer has recently transitioned to Chairman of the Board of Longview Power, after serving over 10 years as its Chief Executive Officer. With over 32 years of experience in the power generation industry, Keffer managed the successful restructuring of the Company in two bankruptcies, including negotiating the successful settlement with contractors in 2015 and guiding the pre-packaged bankruptcy in 2020, largely due to the depressed power market and COVID-19 pandemic. Keffer graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
