Heavy Equipment Technician
The Heavy Equipment Technician reports directly to their assigned Mechanical Supervisor and are responsible for Mechanical Maintenance activities of all Mobile Heavy Equipment (Rolling Stock) related Power Plant. Some of the common duties will be but not limited to, filter replacement, lubrication of equipment, track and gear repair, system leak repair, component & driver alignment, bearing repairs, component replacement, general industrial maintenance, housekeeping, training and troubleshooting of Rolling Stock. Included in Rolling Stock are Dozers, Scrapers, Loaders, Bobcats, Forklifts, and others. This person will follow the Plant Safety Procedures and the Plant LOTO or (Lock-out Tag-out System) at all times. The position will be supporting the Longview Power plant Start-Up / Commissioning, Maintenance and Operational readiness of the 700 MW Super-Critical Coal Fired Generating Station.

Operations Technician
The duties of the Plant Operator Technician are to perform the safe and reliable operation of the local plant equipment as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Control Room Operator. These duties include the local system line-up, local isolation, and local equipment – system specific checks, flow - pressure control, and troubleshooting. The Operator Technician (Level 1) will Operate Local PLC’s for Water, Ash, and other equipment / systems that may be locally controlled. The Operator Technician (Level 1) will adhere to Shift operational activities in accordance with Longview Power’s organization policies and applicable laws. The Operator Technician is responsible for Operational Logs of equipment, pass down of shift status and communication to other shifts. They will help facilitate OJT training for Operator Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications. The operator will ensure safety and environmental procedures are adhered at all times. The position is located at the Longview Power and will support plant startups, shutdowns, outages and operational readiness of the 700 MW Super Critical Coal Fired Generating Station, including but not limited to Fuel systems, ash handling, scrubber systems, Steam turbine generator, Condensate / Feedwater Cycle Equipment, plant auxiliary equipment, and other environmental control systems.
